I chose the veterinary field because I have great empathy for all creatures big and small.
I graduated from Northern College in 2002.
The area of vet medicine that interests me the most is behavior and using the Fear Free model to protect patients' mental well-being.
I currently teach and support the Veterinary Technician course at Georgian College. I thoroughly enjoy shaping the future generations of RVTs.
Fun fact about me...my husband and I spent our honeymoon volunteering at Moholoholo Wildlife Rehab Centre in South Africa. We interacted with lions, servals, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, and a variety of birds.
